On Thursday, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd), the newly appointed Sole Administrator for Rivers State, officially began his duties in Port Harcourt. As he stepped onto the tarmac at Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, shortly after 11:25 am, he was greeted with a warm welcome. Top state officials and key security personnel were on hand to ensure his arrival was nothing short of grand. Speaking to the media after his arrival, Vice Admiral Ibas couldn’t help but express his satisfaction with the current state of affairs in Port Harcourt.
