'We Came The Same Day; We Are Going To Leave The Same Day' - Anyanwu Tells PDP NWC, Appreciates Wike

Leadership Calls for Unity Within the PDP

In a heartfelt message to his colleagues, Nyesom Wike, the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has urged members of the National Working Committee (NWC) to move past any lingering tensions and work together as a united front. Wike emphasized that it's natural for humans to make mistakes, but the real test lies in how we come together to move forward. He believes it’s essential for everyone to set aside differences and focus on the collective mission of the party.

Anyanwu's Strong Stance on Leadership

Anyanwu addressed his colleagues in the PDP NWC, making it clear that he cannot be sidelined. His position as National Secretary was reinstated following a Supreme Court ruling, and he returned to the national secretariat with renewed vigor. He reminded everyone that he and his colleagues began their terms on the same day and will conclude them on the same day, emphasizing the shared journey they’ve embarked upon. Anyanwu’s message was clear: they are all part of the same family, and it’s time to act like it.

According to Naija News, Anyanwu’s return was met with gratitude and a sense of vindication. He expressed his thanks to those who stood by him during the challenging period, including the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, and several governors. Anyanwu took a moment to reflect on the lessons learned from the struggles he faced, acknowledging that the challenges he encountered ultimately strengthened him. "I use this opportunity to ask those who are faithful to God to remain faithful because there is nothing God cannot do," he said, adding, "This victory is not just mine—it belongs to all PDP faithful."

Anyanwu reserved special thanks for those who supported him during his difficult times. He expressed deep gratitude to his friend and leader, the honorable minister for the FCT, who stood by him unwaveringly. He also acknowledged the governors who believed in him and the truth, standing by him through thick and thin. "We are one family," Anyanwu reiterated. "We came here as a family, and we will leave as a family. Despite what has happened, we are humans, and we can always err. But what truly matters is honesty and sincerity in our repentance."

Vision for the Future: Preparing for 2027

Anyanwu didn’t stop at addressing the past; he looked ahead to the future. He called on all leaders and stakeholders within the PDP to unite and ensure the party's success in the 2027 election. "Our aim is to win the election in 2027," he said, urging those causing confusion within the party to desist. "This is the only party we have. We cannot destroy our home. We can’t destroy our bed, because if we do, we will have nowhere to sleep. Nigerians love the PDP, and we are going to work hard, brainstorming ways to ensure the party regains its strength and prominence."

With a clear vision and a renewed sense of purpose, Anyanwu is rallying the PDP family to work together, learn from the past, and build a brighter future. His message is simple yet powerful: unity is the key to success, and the PDP must stand as one to achieve its goals.
